Challenge classes worked on their Wump Hats today and regular math reviewed their Wumps and area/perimeter review packet. Conferences are tonight and Thursday night from 4:30-8 p.m. Each student has been scheduled a time to meet with their parents to review their grades and portfolio. Please be sure to let one of your 7th grade core teachers know if you have a problem with your scheduled time; otherwise, I am excited to see you all! :-)
REMINDERS:
~Don't forget that throughout this unit, if you ever see anything that has to do with what we are learning in class (stretching/shrinking), bring it in (or a description of it) to share with the class and Miss Kohr will give you extra points for your class grade! :-)
Today's homework:
Challenge: Complete all Wump Hats and Coordinates
Regular: None
Also: remember to...
~Redo any assignments necessary (you have one week to redo work in math)
~KEEP STUDYING THOSE MATH FACTS...you could have another timed test any day now :-) :-) :-)
Question of the Day: It is 963 miles from Boston to Chicago by highway. If a bicycle rider set out on January 24, and averaged 50 miles per day, when would the cyclist arrive in Chicago?
**YOU CAN'T JUST LOOK THIS UP ON THE INTERNET...YOU MUST SHOW ME A MATH STRATEGY FOR FIGURING OUT YOUR ANSWERS TO GET IT CORRECT!!!
** Good luck my savvy students!!!
Remember, the first student to answer the Question of the Day correctly will get a small prize from me the next day! :-)
