Pop Quiz Central...

Today we had a pop quiz in regular math. Students were allowed to use their notes from class for this quiz (and all answers should have been able to be found in their notes). This should help students to see the importance in taking good notes. I have warned students that pop quizzes can happen at any time, any day so they need to always be on top of what they are learning.

Challenge students reviewed their study guides today and will have a quiz tomorrow over Investigations 1 + 2.

Conferences were a HUGE success with nearly 87% attendance by parents and unbelievably great comments on the survey! Kids set new goals for themselves and really did a fabulous job "taking charge" of their learning, reflecting and sharing! I am super proud of everyone involved! :-)

REMINDERS:

~Don't forget that throughout this unit, if you ever see anything that has to do with what we are learning in class (stretching/shrinking), bring it in (or a description of it) to share with the class and Miss Kohr will give you extra points for your class grade! :-)

Today's homework:
Challenge: Quiz tomorrow over Investigation 1 + 2 (study guides were given last week and we reviewed them today in class)
Regular: None

Also: remember to...

~Redo any assignments necessary (you have one week to redo work in math)

~KEEP STUDYING THOSE MATH FACTS...you could have another timed test any day now :-) :-) :-)

Question of the Day: GO BACK AND LOOK AT OTHER POSTS...no more new questions of the day will be posted until others get answered! :-) :-) :-)

**YOU CAN'T JUST LOOK THIS UP ON THE INTERNET...YOU MUST SHOW ME A MATH STRATEGY FOR FIGURING OUT YOUR ANSWERS TO GET IT CORRECT!!!

** Good luck my savvy students!!!
Remember, the first student to answer the Question of the Day correctly will get a small prize from me the next day! :-)
